This site is a personal site with one form on it. This page explains exactly what happens to the information you send, who can see it, and how to have it removed.

## Who runs this site

garenarmstrong.com is the personal and professional site of Garen Armstrong, an entrepreneur, operator, and executive coach based in the Kansas City metropolitan area, United States. Questions about anything on this page can go to garen@garenarmstrong.com, and they reach Garen and his team directly.

## What the contact form collects

The form at https://garenarmstrong.com/contact is the only place on this site that asks you for information. When you submit it, we receive:

- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, only if you choose to enter one — the field is optional
- The topic you select (Coaching Application, Speaking / Media, Press Inquiry, Philanthropy, or General)
- The message you write

Nothing else is requested. There are no accounts, no logins, and no payment fields anywhere on this site, so we never handle passwords or card details. Please do not send confidential medical, financial, or legal information through the form — email is not a secure channel for it.

## Why we collect it, and what we do with it

We use what you send for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it. A coaching application is reviewed to see whether there is a fit. A speaking or press inquiry is routed to whoever handles scheduling. A general note gets a general answer. Most inquiries receive a response within one to two business days.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you used the contact form, and there is no newsletter signup hidden inside it. If Garen's team ever wants to email you about something other than your inquiry, they will ask first.

## Who processes it

This site is hosted on Netlify, and the contact form is handled by Netlify Forms. That means your submission passes through and is stored by Netlify on Garen's behalf before it is delivered to his inbox. Netlify, as the hosting provider, also records standard server request data such as IP addresses and user-agent strings for security and abuse prevention. Once a submission reaches Garen's email, it lives in his email provider's system like any other message.

Some pages embed a YouTube video using the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain, and the site loads fonts from Google Fonts. If you play a video or load a page, those services will see your IP address as part of serving the content to you.

## Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers or cross-site profiling scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. Embedded YouTube players may set their own storage if, and only if, you press play on a video.

## How long it is kept

Form submissions are kept as long as they are useful for the conversation they started, and archived correspondence may be retained for ordinary business record-keeping. If you would rather it were not, ask and we will delete it.

## Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email garen@garenarmstrong.com with the request and the email address you used, and we will handle it. Depending on where you live, you may have formal rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy statutes in the United States; we honor those requests regardless of where you are.

## Children

This site is aimed at business owners and operators. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

## Automated agents and crawlers

AI agents and crawlers are welcome here. The site publishes a [/llms.txt](https://garenarmstrong.com/llms.txt) describing when to use it, a [/sitemap.xml](https://garenarmstrong.com/sitemap.xml), and a Markdown version of every page via the `Accept: text/markdown` header. Reading those pages collects nothing from you, because none of them are behind a form.

## Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than quietly swapped in.
